What We Offer
imgformats provides free, browser-based image tools, including an Image Converter, Compressor, and Resizer. All processing happens locally on your device using your browser we do not upload, store, or access any images you process through our tools.
Use of the Site
You may use imgformats for personal or commercial purposes, free of charge. You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site’s functionality, servers, or underlying code

Your Content & Files
Since all image processing happens entirely within your own browser, you retain full ownership and responsibility for any files you process using our tools. We never receive, view, or store a copy of your images, and therefore we hold no rights to, and take no responsibility for, the content of any files you convert, compress, or resize.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use, modify, or process any images you upload through our tools.
No Warranty
imgformats is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we aim for our tools to work reliably across devices and browsers, we do not guarantee that:
- The site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
- Every file format, browser, or device will be fully compatible with our tools
- Converted, compressed, or resized output will be free of any quality loss or defects
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, imgformats and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the site or its tools, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of files, or any damages resulting from reliance on the site’s output.
Since your files never leave your device, we are not able to access, recover, or restore any files you process please keep your own backups of important images before converting, compressing, or resizing them.

Intellectual Property
